Nathan Morcom

Nathan Morcom, born on April 5, 1992, is a versatile Australian racing driver with a career spanning various racing disciplines both locally and internationally. Following in the footsteps of his father, Barry Morcom, a successful racer himself, Nathan began his motorsport journey in go-karts, quickly achieving success with Australian and NSW state championships in 2008. He then transitioned to Formula Ford in 2009 and has since competed in Formula 3, the U.S. F2000 Championship, and the New Zealand Toyota Racing Series, gaining valuable experience on the world stage.

Morcom has also made a name for himself in GT racing, highlighted by winning the 2016 Australian Endurance Championship and finishing third in the Australian GT Championship. A significant achievement was winning the 2016 Bathurst 6 Hour race alongside Supercars star Chaz Mostert. He further expanded his GT experience with stints in Europe and Asia. More recently, he has been seen competing in the TCR Australia Touring Car Series, showcasing his adaptability across different racing formats.

Beyond his on-track achievements, Morcom contributes to HMO Customer Racing, assisting in the preparation of Hyundai i30 N TCR cars and the team's operations. His diverse racing background and commitment make him a respected figure in Australian motorsport. In 2024, Morcom returned to GT racing in the GT4 Australia Series, finishing fifth in the Silver Class championship.
