Munkong Sathienthirakul

Munkong "Turbo" Sathienthirakul, born on October 6, 1985, is a prominent Thai racing driver currently making his mark in the TCR Asia Series. Sathienthirakul's racing journey began in karting back in 2000, where he quickly established his dominance by securing three championship titles consecutively until 2002. This early success paved the way for his transition to touring car racing.

In 2010, he switched to the Thai Touring Car Championship. A year later, he participated in the Thai Honda Civic Cup. He then showcased his talent in the Thailand Super Series, where he finished as the runner-up in the 2014 season. In October 2015, Sathienthirakul expanded his racing endeavors by joining the TCR Asia Series and TCR International Series, driving a SEAT León Cup Racer for Craft-Bamboo Racing.

Throughout his career, Munkong has achieved notable success, including multiple wins and podium finishes in various racing series. Some of his accomplishments include wins in the Thai Touring Car Championship (1500 Class) in 2010 and the Thai Honda Civic Cup in 2011. He also secured second place in the Thai Super Series (Super 2000 Class) in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, he finished 6th in the TCR Asia Series with one win.
