Lucas Luhr

Lucas Luhr, born on July 22, 1979, is a highly accomplished German racing driver with a career spanning several top-tier motorsport categories. Luhr's early career began in karting in 1989, where he secured numerous local and national titles. Progressing through the ranks, he transitioned to cars in 1996 and quickly made a name for himself in the German Formula Ford and Formula Three championships.

Luhr became a Porsche factory driver in 1999. A significant part of Luhr's success has been in GT racing. He secured class victories at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2002 and 2003 while driving for Porsche. He also claimed the FIA GT1 World Championship title in 2011. His versatility extends to the American Le Mans Series, where he won the GT class in 2002, the LMP2 category in 2006, and the LMP1 championship in 2008 with Audi Sport North America.

Later in his career, Luhr joined BMW as a factory driver in 2014 and added another significant victory to his resume by winning the 24 Hours of Spa in 2015. Throughout his career, Lucas Luhr has demonstrated exceptional skill and adaptability, earning him recognition as a top-tier professional racing driver. He has competed in series such as Formula 3, Porsche Cup, LMS, FIA GT, DTM, VLN Endurance, WEC, and the Blancpain Endurance Series.
