Gabriele Lancieri

Gabriele Lancieri, born on January 17, 1975, in Imola, Italy, is an accomplished Italian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Lancieri's journey began in karts in 1982, where he remained until 1995 before transitioning to cars. He gained prominence in the Renault Clio Cup and later achieved success in Italian Formula 3, winning two races in 1997, which propelled him into the world of Formula 3000.

Lancieri competed in both Euro/Italian Formula 3000 and International Formula 3000 series. In 2001, he participated in International Formula 3000 with Durango Formula. Transitioning from open-wheel racing, Lancieri became a frequent competitor in GT racing, participating in the Italian GT series and major endurance races. In 2016, he raced with his own team in the Endurance Champion Cup. He continued in this category into 2017 and participated in endurance events in 2018, including the European Le Mans Series in 2019 and the Asian Le Mans Series in 2020. In 2021, he secured a victory in the Le Mans Cup.

More recently, Lancieri returned to the European Le Mans Series in 2022. In 2023, he participated in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse series while also running his own motorsports business. Beyond racing, he is involved in historic events and serves as a driver coach. Lancieri is also an official instructor for Scuola Federale ACI Sport.
