Felipe Fernandez Laser

Felipe Fernandez Laser, born on November 16, 1988, is a German racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing series. He began his racing journey in 2007 in the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup, showcasing his talent early on by securing three wins in the rookie classification. The following year, he stepped up to the SEAT León Supercopa. From 2012 to 2013, Laser participated in six races in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, achieving a personal best of fourth place at the Red Bull Ring.

In 2014, Fernandez Laser increased his participation in the VLN Endurance Championship on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, initially driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. His first entry into the Nürburgring 24 Hours came in 2015, where he finished sixth overall. The same year, he secured two overall victories in the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring while driving the Dunlop BMW Z4 GT3 Art Car. In 2016, he joined James Glickenhaus' Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus team, finishing second in the SP-X class. Laser continued to achieve success with Glickenhaus, including an 8th overall finish in 2019. Notably, he won the SP-X class in 2020. In 2023, Laser was part of the Frikadelli Racing Team that won the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Currently, Felipe Fernandez Laser is competing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup for Rinaldi Racing, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3. He also shares his driving expertise as an instructor at the Porsche Experience Center in Leipzig, where he provides knowledge and practical experience with high-performance cars.
