Aaren Russell

Aaren Leigh Russell, born on August 22, 1991, is an Australian motor racing driver with experience in the Supercars Championship. Hailing from Newcastle, New South Wales, Russell's career has seen him compete in various racing series, showcasing his talent and determination on the track. He is the son of Wayne Russell and brother to Drew Russell, both of whom have been involved in motorsport.

Russell began his racing journey in the NSW Formula Vee championship in 2008 and 2009, achieving a second-place finish in his second year. He then transitioned to the Development Series (now Super2 Series) in 2010 with Novocastrian Motorsport, a team run by his family. Throughout his time in the Development Series, he secured two podium finishes in 2014 and later moved to Paul Morris Motorsport in 2015.

In 2015, Aaren and his brother Drew teamed up for the Bathurst 1000 as a wildcard entry under the Novocastrian Motorsport banner, finishing 17th. The following year, Aaren signed with Erebus Motorsport for a full-time drive in the Supercars Championship. However, this partnership ended mid-season. He later joined Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport for the Pirtek Enduro Cup series. In 2018, Russell joined Nissan Motorsport as a co-driver for Andre Heimgartner in the Enduro Cup.
