Michael Mccarthy

Michael McCarthy is an accomplished young American driver making waves in sports car racing. In 2021, he clinched the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America Platinum class championship with Kellymoss. He transitioned into the Carrera Cup Pro class, gaining valuable experience in 2022 and 2023. Currently, in 2024, McCarthy is partnering with Riley Dickinson in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, specifically the Michelin Pilot Challenge, driving the #91 car for Kellymoss with Riley Motorsports. McCarthy's early career highlights include a National Rotax DD2 championship win, demonstrating his versatility across different racing disciplines. In 2021 Porsche Sprint Challenge North America series, Over 7 rounds of racing he accumulated 11 poles, 11 wins, two 2nds and one 3rd.
