Mark Patterson

Mark Patterson is an American racing driver with a long and varied career in motorsports. Born on December 15, 1951, in Bronxville, New York, but with ties to South Africa, Patterson began his racing journey later in life, around the age of 50, after a successful career in finance, including a senior position at Credit Suisse. He's competed in various racing series, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and the Asian Le Mans Series.

Patterson's racing experience spans multiple categories, including LMP2 prototypes and GT cars. A highlight of his career includes six participations in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. His best result at Le Mans was a fifth-place finish in the LMP2 class in 2015 with Murphy Prototypes, alongside Karun Chandhok and Nathanaël Berthon. He has raced at approximately 70 tracks worldwide across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Middle East.

In recent years, Patterson has been active in the Asian Le Mans Series, driving LMP3 cars.
