Bas Schothorst

Bas Schothorst, born on June 30, 1979, is a Dutch racing driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Schothorst's journey began in karting, fueled by early exposure to Formula 1 on TV and attending races at Zandvoort. His father's involvement in motorsport, including owning a racing team, further nurtured his passion.

Throughout his career, Schothorst has competed in series such as the ADAC GT Masters, World Series by Renault, and the VLN endurance series. A highlight of his career includes winning both races at Spa-Francorchamps in the Euro-cup Megane Trophy during the 2012 World Series by Renault season. He has 22 wins, 54 podiums, 13 pole positions, and 24 fastest laps in 195 starts.

Currently, Bas continues to pursue his passion for racing. Outside of racing, he enjoys various sports and traveling.
