Yelmer Buurman

Yelmer Buurman, born on February 19, 1987, is a highly accomplished Dutch professional racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Starting in karting, Buurman quickly progressed through the ranks, achieving success in Formula Renault, Formula 3, and Superleague Formula before transitioning to sports car racing.

Buurman has made a significant impact in the world of GT racing. He has competed in prestigious events such as the Blancpain GT Series, Nürburgring 24 Hours, and Intercontinental GT Challenge. His achievements include winning the Dubai 24 Hours twice (2015 and 2018) and securing a second-place finish at the 2013 Nürburgring 24 Hours. Additionally, he finished third in the 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series and the 2012 FIA GT1 World Championship.
