Racing Driver William Exton

William Exton is a rising star in New Zealand motorsport. The 20-year-old from Blenheim has quickly made a name for himself since transitioning from karting to cars. Exton's karting career culminated in the 2021 Kartsport New Zealand Sprint Championship.

Exton made his debut in the Toyota 86 Championship in 2023, using it as a learning year. A move to Race Lab Drivers Academy in 2024 saw an immediate improvement in results, where he became a title contender, securing 11 podiums and finishing third in the championship. His performance earned him the Kaizen Award and a drive in a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO in GT4 Germany at the Nürburgring. In late 2024, Exton won the Giltrap Motorsport Junior Scholarship, earning him a fully funded drive in a McLaren Artura GT4 in the GT New Zealand Championship, where he currently leads the GT4 standings. As an official Giltrap Group driver, Exton joins the ranks of Liam Lawson, Shane van Gisbergen, and Matt Payne.

In 2025, Exton signed with TekworkX Motorsport for his rookie campaign in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Australia. He is excited about the opportunity and the challenges of racing on new tracks against strong competition.
