Racing Driver Tyler Hoffman

Tyler Hoffman is an American racing driver with a diverse background spanning both two and four-wheeled motorsports. His racing journey began at the age of eight in BMX, where he quickly achieved success, securing multiple championships for Redline Bicycles and competing at the expert national level by age ten. Transitioning to cars during high school, Hoffman explored karting, autocross, track days, and off-road rally racing. During this period, he also instructed karting to younger drivers.

Hoffman's pursuit of racing continued through college, where he competed in sports cars and formula cars while attending the University of Alabama. Following graduation, he gained experience at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta before founding Tyler Hoffman Racing, LLC, in 2017. Currently, he races full-time in IMSA and holds the position of Team Principal at Kingpin Racing, a professional racing team based in Atlanta, Georgia. He also competes in the Trans Am series in the XGT class. In October 2024, Hoffman secured an IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX class win, putting Toyota in the victory lane for the first time in 2024.

Hoffman's experience in racing analytics, mechanics, and engineering, combined with a bachelor's degree in business, has equipped him with a unique and comprehensive skillset. His company, Tyler Hoffman Racing, assists clients with various aspects of race car ownership, including acquisition, preparation, transportation, and driver coaching, while Kingpin Racing helps clients with anything that has to do with racecars. He was born in Arlington, Virginia.
