About Toby Sowery
Toby Sowery, born on June 30, 1996, is a British racing driver hailing from Melbourn, Cambridgeshire. Sowery's career began in karting at the age of eight, where he quickly distinguished himself by winning titles in Easykart, Junior TKM, and Junior Rotax GP. He transitioned to single-seaters in 2014, making an immediate impact by winning the MSV F3 Cup Championship. He continued his success by clinching the MRF Challenge title in 2014-2015.
Sowery has demonstrated his skills across various racing disciplines. He finished third in the BRDC British Formula 3 series in 2016, and has competed in Indy Lights, securing third place in the 2019 season with a win at Portland. Recently, Sowery has showcased his talents in sports car racing, including competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In 2024, he made his IndyCar Series debut with Dale Coyne Racing, participating in three races.
