Tim Blanchard

Tim Blanchard, born on June 30, 1987, is an accomplished Australian racing driver with a diverse career in motorsport. A third-generation racer, Blanchard's passion for racing runs deep in his DNA. He began his career in karting, securing numerous titles before transitioning to Formula Ford. In 2007, he clinched the Australian Formula Ford Championship, marking a significant milestone. The following year, he finished second in the British Formula Ford Championship, showcasing his talent on an international stage.

Blanchard made his Supercars debut in the Dunlop Super2 Series in 2010, finishing as runner-up. He received the Mike Kable Young Gun Award for his impressive first-year performance in Supercars. He stepped up to the Supercars Championship in 2013, and after several seasons, transitioned to focusing on team ownership.

In 2021, Blanchard realized his vision by fielding a Mustang for Tim Slade. He currently co-principals Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) with his father, John Blanchard. BRT operates as a two-car team in the Supercars Championship, fielding Ford Mustangs. In addition to his team principal role, Blanchard continues to participate in endurance races.
