Thomas Randle, born on April 7, 1996, is a highly accomplished Australian racing driver currently competing in the Supercars Championship for Tickford Racing, driving the No. 55 Castrol Racing Ford Mustang GT. Randle's career has been marked by success in various racing categories. He began in karting before transitioning to single-seaters, where he won the 2014 Australian Formula Ford Series and the 2017 Toyota Racing Series. In 2020, he added another title to his name by winning the Super2 Series.
Randle's talent has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the 2018 Mike Kable Young Gun Award, the 2020 BRDC Innes Ireland Trophy, and the 2023 Peter Brock Medal. He gained open-wheel experience overseas, competing in British Formula 3, Formula V8 3.5 Series, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, and LMP3 sportscar competition.
Thomas Randle commenced full-time driving in the Supercars Championship in 2022 for Castrol Racing. In 2024, he demonstrated significant progress, consistently contending for trophies and pole positions, ultimately securing fifth place overall in the championship. Beyond racing, Randle is studying Mechanical Engineering and has a business called Dream Simulation and enjoys volleyball.
