Suvi Jyrkiäinen

Suvi Jyrkiäinen is a Finnish racing driver with a diverse motorsport background, showcasing her talents in both circuit racing and rallying. Born and raised in a motorsport family, Suvi's passion for racing was ignited at a young age. She began her racing career at 15 in the Finnish Championship with a Honda Civic. In 2016, she earned the title of best rookie driver. Several podium finishes followed, marking her as a promising talent in the Finnish racing scene.

Transitioning to rallying in 2019, Suvi quickly adapted to the challenges of off-road competition, securing second place in her very first rally event. In 2024, she was selected as one of the three finalists in WRC Promoter's Beyond Rally Women's Driver Development Program, earning her a chance to compete in a Ford Fiesta Rally3 at the Central European Rally (CER). Although she faced some setbacks during the CER due to a coolant issue with her car, Suvi gained valuable experience.

More recently, Suvi's career has been gaining momentum on the international stage. In October 2024, she participated in the Central European Rally, driving an M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3. With her family's rich history in rallying and guidance from experienced co-drivers like Antti Linnaketo, Suvi Jyrkiäinen is poised to make a significant impact in the world of rally racing. Her participation in the FIA Smart Driving Challenge also highlights her awareness for road safety.
