Racing Driver Stephen Earle

Stephen Earle, born on January 1, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, is an American racing driver with a long and impressive career. Beyond the racetrack, Earle is an accomplished orthopaedic spine surgeon. He started his racing journey in 1978 and has since participated in various GT competitions, earning the nicknames "Il Dottore" and "The Iron Doc."

Earle's career highlights include multiple successes in the Ferrari Challenge series, including several championship wins in the US Ferrari Challenge (1996, 1999) and a Ferrari Challenge World Championship in 1995. More recently, he secured 4th in the Am category of the Italian GT in 2021, with two wins. He has also competed in the Blancpain GT Sports Club, achieving 6th place in 2018, and earned 3rd in the Am category of the Blancpain Endurance series in 2015.

Known for his passion and pragmatic approach to racing, Earle has been associated with Kessel Racing for over a decade. His dedication to maintaining his physical and mental health allows him to compete at a high level, even into his late sixties and early seventies. As he stated in an interview, he intends to continue racing as long as he remains competitive and has the ability to win.
