Spencer Pumpelly

Spencer Pumpelly, born on December 28, 1974, is a seasoned American professional racing driver with over two decades of experience in top-tier motorsports. Hailing from Mason Neck, Virginia, Pumpelly's journey into racing began after earning an economics degree in 1998. Despite a later start compared to many of today's drivers, his dedication quickly propelled him to success. He is a two-time GT class winner at the prestigious Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.

Pumpelly has achieved victories in the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Rolex Series, showcasing his versatility across different racing formats. He has also competed in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, the ARCA Menards Series, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series, demonstrating his adaptability to various racing disciplines. In IMSA, he currently drives the No. 44 Acura NSX GT3 for Magnus Racing with Archangel Motorsports. Pumpelly's career highlights include multiple podium finishes and four appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2024, he was victorious at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in GTD competition with co-driver Roman De Angelis.

Off the track, Pumpelly resides in Atlanta with his wife and children. Since 2010, he has followed a vegan lifestyle, emphasizing his commitment to health and ethical living. Beyond racing, he enjoys ice hockey, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and running, reflecting his dedication to fitness and diverse interests.
