Sergey Sirotkin

Sergey Olegovich Sirotkin, born on August 27, 1995, is a Russian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Sirotkin's journey began in karting at the age of 12, and he quickly progressed through the ranks, showcasing his talent in the KF3 and KF2 categories. By 2010, he transitioned to single-seaters, competing in the Formula Abarth series, where he clinched the European title in 2011. His early success paved the way for entries into Auto GP, Italian Formula 3, and Formula Renault 3.5, demonstrating his adaptability across different racing formulas.

Sirotkin's career gained momentum with his participation in the GP2 Series, where he consistently performed, securing third-place finishes in the standings. This success led to a role as a test driver for Sauber and later as a reserve driver for Renault in Formula 1. In 2018, he secured a coveted race seat with Williams, making his Formula 1 debut at the Australian Grand Prix. Though his time in Formula 1 was limited to a single season, he scored his first and only championship point at the Italian Grand Prix.

Since his departure from Formula 1, Sirotkin has remained active in motorsport, focusing on sports car racing. He has participated in prestigious events such as the FIA World Endurance Championship and the GT World Challenge Europe. Beyond racing, Sirotkin is involved in developing motorsport talent through his karting academy and has held positions within the Russian Automobile Federation. In 2025, he competed in the Middle East Trophy for SMP Racing.
