Racing Driver Scott Schmidt

Scott Schmidt is an American racing driver with experience in various racing series. In 2021, Schmidt secured a significant victory in the GT America GT2 class at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA), driving a TPC Racing Lamborghini. This win was particularly notable as it marked the first GT2-spec car to compete and win in the GT America series.

Schmidt's achievements extend to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, where he achieved his first career professional victory in the LB Cup class in June 2022 at Watkins Glen. Driving the No. 38 DSC Sport/Erin Levitas Foundation Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 for TPC Racing, Schmidt's win came after persistent hard work with his driver coach Trevor Andrusko. He started the race in second position, maintained it for most of the race, and capitalized on a penalty given to the leading car to ultimately secure the victory.

Furthermore, Schmidt has participated in American Endurance Racing (AER) events since October 2019. Throughout 9 events and 40 stints, he has completed over 1000 laps, achieving 6 first-place finishes, 4 second-place finishes, and 8 third-place finishes. He has secured a total of 18 podiums and has been associated with teams such as Kingpin Racing and SJS Motorsports.
