About Scott Pye
Scott Robert Pye, born on January 8, 1990, is an accomplished Australian racing driver currently serving as a co-driver for Triple Eight Race Engineering in the Repco Supercars Championship, piloting the No. 87 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Pye's journey in motorsport began in go-karts, where he clinched six state championships. He then transitioned to Formula Ford, showcasing his talent in both the State Series and the Australian Formula Ford Championship, finishing third in the latter in 2009. In 2010, he conquered the British Formula Ford Championship with an impressive 12 race wins.
Pye's Supercars career commenced in 2012 in the Super2 Series with Triple Eight Race Engineering, where he finished as runner-up. He made his Supercars Championship debut in 2013. Since then, he has accumulated over 300 race starts and achieved 11 podiums, including a memorable victory at Albert Park in 2018. He also has two Bathurst 1000 podiums, both second-place finishes in 2017 and 2018. After full-time stints with Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, Dick Johnson Racing/DJR Team Penske, Walkinshaw Racing/Walkinshaw Andretti United and Team 18, Pye transitioned to co-driving duties with Triple Eight in 2024.
Outside of racing, Pye enjoys mountain bike riding and CrossFit. He also balances his racing career with his media company, One Nine Media, and the 'Apex Hunters United' podcast.
