Richard Hawken

Richard Hawken, born on January 3, 1972, is a British racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Hawken's racing journey began in karting at the age of 12, where he quickly achieved success, winning the South of England Open Championship at 14. By 1991, he transitioned to cars, celebrating a victory in his very first Renault race.

Hawken's career highlights include competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in 2015 with Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing. However, his time in BTCC was cut short due to circumstances beyond his control. He also has three championship titles in the BRSCC Euro Saloon & Sports Car Championship, including the Super Touring Class, showcasing his skill in saloon car racing. In 2018, Hawken debuted in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, achieving two podium finishes at Brands Hatch and finishing 4th in the AM Championship. He returned to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in 2019 but his sponsorship experienced financial difficulties, causing him to leave before the season ended.

Beyond racing, Richard Hawken has a career in the financial sector. He spent over 20 years in investment banking before establishing EMM London, a private office catering to collectors of blue-chip automobiles. He also founded YourCarLocator.com and The Car Fund. Hawken's passion for cars extends beyond the track, encompassing investment and collection management.
