Racing Driver Oscar Tunjo

Óscar Andrés Tunjo, born on January 5, 1996, is a Colombian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Tunjo began his racing journey at a young age, starting in karting at the age of five and winning several Colombian championships. He transitioned to Europe in 2007 to compete in local karting series.

In 2010, at the age of fourteen, Tunjo made his debut in single-seaters in the Formula BMW Pacific series, securing second place overall with one win. He then progressed through the ranks of Formula Renault, achieving multiple podiums and wins in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 2.0 NEC series. He also competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. In 2015, Tunjo participated in the GP3 Series. Beyond single-seaters, Tunjo has also made a mark in GT racing.

More recently, Tunjo has been active in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and the European Le Mans Series, driving LMP3 cars. His career highlights include being a Lotus F1 Junior driver and winning the Special Tourenwagen Trophy.
