Norbert Kiss

Norbert "Norbi" Kiss, born on May 2, 1985, is a Hungarian truck racing driver who has established himself as one of the most successful figures in motorsport from Hungary. Kiss's career began in the virtual world of sim racing, where his skills quickly garnered attention. Transitioning to real-world racing in 2005, he briefly participated in the Opel Astra Cup before making a significant impact by winning the Renault Clio Cup in Hungary at his first attempt in 2006. He continued his success in the Hungarian SEAT León Cup, securing the championship in 2007 and again in 2008.

Kiss's career then led him to the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC), where he truly made his mark. He secured his first win in 2011 at Jarama. He continued to impress, culminating in his first ETRC title in 2014, followed by another in 2015 with a record-breaking 19 race wins. After a team change in 2016, he remained a strong contender, and his dominance returned in full force in 2021.

Kiss utterly dominated the 2021 season and continued his impressive performance into 2022, claiming his fourth Goodyear FIA ETRC title with 16 race wins. With unwavering consistency and exceptional racing skills, he secured his fifth Goodyear FIA ETRC title at Le Mans with five races to spare. He has a total of six FIA European Truck Racing Championship titles, making him one of the most dominant forces in the sport. Beyond his on-track achievements, Kiss has also remained active in virtual motorsports, participating in online endurance racing events and serving as a brand ambassador for Get Closer Racing.
