Racing Driver Niklas Abrahamsen

Niklas Abrahamsen, a 20-year-old Norwegian racing driver from Ringerike, is making waves in the world of motorsport. Abrahamsen's journey began at the age of nine with karting, quickly developing a passion for racing. He secured the 2017 Norwegian Championship in 60 ccm karting. By 2019, he was runner-up in the Nordic 125 ccm SKCC Championship before transitioning to circuit car racing in 2020. In his first season, despite missing several races, he managed two wins, two third-place finishes, and two fourth-place finishes, ultimately securing sixth place overall in the championship.

Abrahamsen's talent has been recognized by being part of Team Norway, the official National Team for motorsport. This support has allowed him to attend a school with a sports-focused curriculum, aiding in his development. In 2023, he competed in the Citroen DS3 Racing Cup, a Nordic series with races in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, securing a race win at Padborg Park in Denmark. In 2024, he is racing semi-professionally in Germany, competing in the NLS championship with Aston Martin/Dörr Motorsport, with the goal of driving for a professional team without having to pay.

In 2025, Abrahamsen joined Walkenhorst Motorsport, one of Aston Martin's global factory teams, participating in a part-time program at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, including races in the NLS championship and the 24-hour race. He will be driving a 2025 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and a Walkenhorst Motorsport Hyundai i30N for training. Abrahamsen is also a Pirelli Nordic Brand Ambassador. His racing helmet features a custom design with black, yellow, silver, and white colors, along with grey stripes and dark grey metallic honeycombs.
