Nigel Bailly

Nigel Bailly is a Belgian racing driver who has overcome significant challenges to compete in motorsports. Born on October 16, 1989, Bailly's early passion was motocross, which he began at the age of six. However, at 14, a motocross accident resulted in a spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Despite this setback, Bailly remained determined to pursue his love for racing.

Bailly's career in motorsports began in 2017 at the age of 27, driving a hand-controlled Renault Clio Cup car in a small Belgian championship. He quickly demonstrated his talent, achieving a podium finish in his first race. His career rapidly progressed, and he became the first paraplegic driver to win a GT3 race. In 2021, he competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of a team of disabled drivers. In 2023, Bailly participated in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, driving a specially adapted Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2.

Throughout his career, Nigel Bailly has broken down barriers and inspired many with his determination and skill.
