About Morten Dons

Morten Dons, born on December 29, 1988, is a Danish racing driver making his mark in European sports car racing. Hailing from Struer, Denmark, Dons began his motorsport journey in karting in 2006. He transitioned to Formula Ford racing in Denmark in 2011, securing a commendable 3rd place in the 2012 championship. Showing his versatility, he also competed in the Formula Ford NEZ series.

In 2013, Dons switched gears to sports car racing, entering the Ginetta GT5 Challenge Sweden and winning the championship. This success propelled him into the British GT Championship in 2014, where he partnered with Aleksander Schjerpen in a Ginetta G55 GT4 for Century Motorsport, finishing 5th in the GT4 standings. Dons made his debut in the European Le Mans Series in 2015, driving a Ginetta Juno LMP3 for the University of Bolton team alongside Rob Garofall. That year, they secured a memorable LMP3 victory at Imola.

Dons' career highlights also include racing in the Radical European Masters, where he finished 4th in 2018, and being a factory driver for Radical Sports Cars and Revolution Race Cars. In 2020, he finished 3rd in the Danish Endurance Championship (Class 4). He continues to be an active competitor, demonstrating his passion and commitment to motorsport.
