About Michael Simpson
Michael Simpson is a British racing driver hailing from Beverly, East Yorkshire, born on September 12, 1983. Simpson's career began in karting at the age of eight in 1991, where he quickly proved his talent. Over two decades, he competed in nearly every class, amassing an impressive collection of trophies. He has been the official driver for Gillard, Tony Kart, Swiss Hutless, and Birel. Simpson boasts four British Champion titles and eight Kartmaster British Grand Prix titles, marking him as a dominant force in the karting world. He stopped karting at the top level in 2011 after winning a new formula called KGP.
Transitioning from karts to cars, Simpson became a factory driver for Ginetta, a top British race car manufacturer. In 2019, Simpson participated in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving Car #6, and competing in races such as the 4 Hours of Silverstone.
Simpson's continued presence in the racing world highlights his passion for motorsport.
