Maximilian Goetz

Maximilian Götz, born on February 4, 1986, is a highly accomplished German racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Beginning in karting at the age of 10, Götz transitioned to Formula BMW, where he finished second overall in 2002, behind Nico Rosberg, and won the title in 2003, ahead of Sebastian Vettel. After facing challenges in Formula 3, Götz made a successful switch to GT racing in 2009. He secured the ADAC GT Masters title in 2012 and the Blancpain GT Sprint Series in 2014.

Götz entered the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) in 2015 with Mercedes-AMG, returning to the series in 2021, where he clinched the championship title in a dramatic season finale. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated versatility and skill, competing in series such as the GT World Challenge Europe, the British GT Championship, and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Beyond DTM, Götz has achieved significant success in GT racing, including victories in the 24 Hours of Spa.

Since 2017, Götz has been an AMG brand ambassador. In 2024, he made his debut in the British GT Championship with 2 Seas Motorsport. A seasoned competitor with experience in single-seaters and GT cars, Maximilian Götz continues to be a prominent figure in the world of motorsport.
