Racing Driver Max Bird Overview
Max Bird is a 24-year-old British racing driver making his mark in the world of motorsports. Born on May 26, 2000, Bird began his racing journey at the young age of 6, karting at local tracks. His early successes included winning the prestigious TVKC karting championship for Junior Rotax in 2015.
Transitioning to car racing in 2016, Bird competed in the highly competitive Ginetta Junior Championship. He further honed his skills in the Ginetta GT5 Championship, finishing 4th overall in 2017. In 2021, he entered the Mini JCW Championship, breaking records for podium finishes and securing 2nd overall, narrowly missing the championship title by a single point. After taking a season off in 2022 to focus on fundraising, Bird returned to the track in 2023, triumphing in the PRO-AM category of the Porsche Carrera Cup Championship with an impressive 9 podiums.
Currently, Max is a semi-professional racing driver and driver coach competing in the Masters Historic Racing Series in 2025. Outside of racing, Max enjoys detailing cars and is a skilled cook. His favorite driver is Ayrton Senna, and his favorite track is Oulton Park.
