Mathieu Martins

Mathieu Martins, born in Paris on August 24, 2001, is a rising star in the world of French motorsport. He began his racing journey at the age of 15 in karting at Racing Kart de Cormeilles and quickly demonstrated his talent. In 2018, he joined Joker Team, participating in karting endurance races within the Sodi World Series, achieving the title of vice-champion in 2019. In 2022, the Joker Team secured the World Champion title in the Sodi World Series.

Transitioning to car racing, Martins entered the Ligier European Series in 2020 with M Racing, led by Yvan Muller, driving a Ligier JS2 R. He impressed with a 3rd place finish in the championship, securing 5 podiums and 4 pole positions out of 12 races. Continuing in the series in 2021 with Orhès Racing, alongside teammate Olivier Pernaut, he finished as vice-champion with 10 podiums and 2 pole positions. His goal was to win the Ligier JS2 R title.

In 2023, Martins shifted his focus to endurance racing, competing in the Ultimate Cup Series with Martinet by Alméras in a Porsche 992 Cup. Teaming up with Julien Froment and Joffrey Dorchy, they clinched the championship title with 5 podiums in 6 races. Also, in 2024, Mathieu Martins was part of the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. In the same year he joined Manuel Gião in one of the GT4 Pro cars of RACAR Motorsport to compete in the Iberian Supercars and Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade. Mathieu Martins' career showcases a versatile talent with achievements in karting, Ligier series, and endurance racing, marking him as a driver to watch in the future.
