Mark Van der snel

Mark van der Snel is a Dutch racing driver who combines his passion for motorsport with his career as an IT company owner. Born on April 6, 1971, Van der Snel's racing journey has seen him participate in various racing series, including the All Dutch Porsche Racing Days at Zandvoort and the Dutch Radical Cup. More recently, he has competed in the Westfield Cup in 2021 and 2022, racing against his son, Max van der Snel.

In 2023, Mark joined his son in the Prototype Cup Germany, driving a Ligier JS P320 for More Motorsport by Reiter. The season proved to be a resounding success, with Mark claiming the Trophy Champion title. A highlight of the season was winning the race at Assen with his son. As a Bronze-rated driver, Mark brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team.

Beyond his on-track achievements, Mark is also the team owner of More Motorsport, aiming to bring Dutch racing enthusiasm to the world of endurance racing. His goal is to build a successful motorsport team, with aspirations of competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and eventually the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). Mark's multifaceted role as a driver, team owner, and businessman showcases his dedication to motorsport and his ambition to make a mark in the racing world. As of early 2025, he has participated in 7 Le Mans Cup races and achieved 1 podium finish.
