Manu Damiani

Manu Damiani is a French racing driver with Corsican roots, born on November 17, 1965, in Bastia. Though he lacked prior experience in auto racing or karting, Damiani first tested his skills on the track at 18 as a Formula 3 hopeful at Circuit de la Châtre, reaching the semi-finals. He continued to pursue racing opportunities, participating in the Volant Jeune Marlboro at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours and earning a spot in the finals, and later securing second place in the Volant Citroën AX selections. However, a lack of funding prevented him from entering a championship.

In the early 1990s, Damiani began working alongside Luc Rozentvaig, a Porsche driver, discovering his passion for instructing while honing his driving skills. Together, they organized driving courses at circuits like Lurcy-Levis and Nevers Magny-Cours F1, offering sessions in Porsche Carrera Cup cars. In 2004, he founded the GTDRIVE driving school, providing courses for the public in exceptional cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches, as well as racing courses in Renault Sport R26R and Porsche Cup cars. He became the official driver for the driving school, piloting the KTM X-Bow R for track baptisms.

Beyond his driving school, Damiani has also participated in the French Mitjet Series, joining Team AGS Events in 2013. Throughout the 2013 season, he was a prominent figure in the championship, achieving numerous podium finishes and a victory at Lédenon, ultimately finishing fourth overall.
