Lucas Medina

Lucas Medina Cristancho, born on August 4, 2003, is a Colombian racing driver making his mark in the world of motorsports. In 2019, he was recognized by the FIA as the best junior driver in the Americas. Medina's career began in karting in 2011, securing two championships in the DPK category in 2012 and 2013. He also achieved a victory and a third-place finish in the Rotax Max Winter Cup in 2012. In 2018, he was crowned Pan American Champion in the Shifter Rok category at the Rok Cup Colombia.

Transitioning to cars, Medina has competed in various series, including the NACAM Formula 4 Championship, where he achieved multiple podiums and race wins. In 2022, he participated in the final round of the NACAM Formula 4 Championship as a support race for the Mexico City Grand Prix, earning a pole position. More recently, Medina competed in the Formula Regional European Championship with Saintéloc Racing and the Ligier European Series - JS P4, showcasing his talent on the European stage. In 2018 he was also champion in the Camper Cross category, champion in the Legends Stock Challenge, and champion of the 6 Hours of Bogotá, in the Caterham Prototypes category.
