Liu Rui Qi

Liu Ruiqi is a professional Formula One driver born in the 2000s and the first Chinese driver signed by the Schumacher team. His racing career began in kindergarten. At the age of 5, he watched F1 races at the Shanghai International Circuit and owned his first professional kart in the summer of 2015. He has participated in many races in Europe since he was 12 years old. In order to realize his dream of becoming a top racing driver, he basically trains on the track during holidays and weekends, often running one or two hundred kilometers a day. In terms of race results, he won the first and third rounds on behalf of Black Blade Racing in the opening race in Zhuhai last season; in the 2023 Shell Helix FIA Formula F4 China Championship Pingtan Station, he won one championship, one runner-up and one third place in the four rounds of the finals in China F4 and Italy F4; in the final of the twelfth round of the event, he and his teammate Liao Qishun won the championship and runner-up. In June 2024, he completed the race at the Budapest Circuit in Hungary, continued to participate in the Mugello Circuit in Italy and the Le Circuit in France in July, and made his Formula One debut at the ADAC F4 Lausitzring in August, participated in the EuroFormula Milan in October, and participated in the FR FIA World Cup Macau in November.
