Racing Driver Kyle Tilley

Kyle Tilley is a British professional racing driver born on February 16, 1988. Primarily involved in historic motorsport and sports car racing, Tilley competes in series like the Historic Formula One Championship and the IMSA SportsCar Championship, where he drives in the LMP2 class for his own team, Era Motorsport. He achieved a significant milestone in 2021 by winning the Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 championship.

Tilley's racing journey began in karting at a young age, later transitioning to Formula Ford. His dedication to racing saw him juggle three jobs to fund his passion. He secured the Castle Combe Formula Ford 1600 Pre 90 championship in 2010. He moved to sports cars in 2011 and spent the next two years driving for Topcats Racing in Britcar. In 2013, Tilley moved to America, where he competed in Grand Am, IMSA, and Pirelli World Challenge. He also explored stock car racing, participating in several NASCAR Cup Series races in 2021 and 2022.

Beyond driving, Tilley is the owner of Era Motorsport, an IMSA team he established in 2020. He also works as a driver coach, specializing in vintage and historic motorsport. He also offers driver development programs, simulator coaching, and race car rental services.
