Racing Driver Jusuf Owega

Jusuf Owega, born on April 6, 2002, is a German racing driver carving his path in the world of motorsports. Hailing from Cologne, Germany, Owega began his racing career in karting in 2014, showcasing early talent with a 3rd place finish in the championship in 2016. Transitioning to single-seaters, he competed in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship in 2018 before making his mark in GT racing.

Owega quickly adapted to the challenges of GT competition, achieving 3rd place in the ADAC GT4 Germany series in 2019. He further honed his skills in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, securing a 3rd place in the Silver Cup in 2020. In 2021, he achieved his first pole position and victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Progressing through the ranks, Owega participated in the ADAC GT Masters, demonstrating his capabilities in high-level GT racing. In 2023, he took on a new challenge by joining the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM).

More recently, Owega has been competing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring for Haupt Racing Team (HRT). In January 2025, it was announced that Owega would become a Ford Performance Factory Driver, joining HRT's efforts with the Ford Mustang GT3 in various GT series across Europe, including the DTM and the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. His favorite tracks include Silverstone and Old Zandvoort.
