Julien Apothéloz

Julien Apothéloz, born on March 9, 2001, is a Swiss racing driver making his mark in the world of motorsports. His passion ignited at the age of nine when he began karting in 2010, a hobby shared with his father and brother. After achieving four Swiss championship titles in karting, Apothéloz transitioned to car racing in 2019 after winning the "AutoScout24 & Cupra Young Driver Challenge," a prominent Swiss motorsport talent search.

In his debut year in cars, he competed in the ADAC TCR Germany, finishing as the second-best rookie. The following year, he secured a contract with a Mercedes-AMG racing team for the ADAC GT4 Germany, where he achieved multiple podium finishes and victories, nearly winning the championship in his first year. He then came into contact with DTM champion Bernd Schneider, who became his manager, guiding his career towards becoming a professional racing driver.

Currently, Apothéloz competes in the LMP3 class in the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany for Team van Ommen racing by Datalab, and is part of the BWT Mücke Motorsport team. In 2023, he had a successful first season in the Prototype Cup Germany, claiming three victories, two runner-up finishes, and many third places. He finished the season in second place overall. He utilizes Sim Racing as a training method. His career goals include securing a top 3 position in the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany, establishing himself in international prototype and GT motorsport, and achieving top finishes in prestigious 24-hour races like Le Mans, Nürburgring, Spa, and Daytona.
