Jorg Mueller

Jörg Müller, born on September 3, 1969, in Kerkrade, Netherlands, is a highly accomplished German racing driver with a long and successful career primarily associated with BMW. Although born in the Netherlands, he races under the German flag. He is the son of former European Karting champion Ewald Müller.

Müller's career began in karts and quickly progressed to open-wheel racing, where he secured several championship titles, including the 1989 German Formula Opel Lotus Challenge, the 1989 European Formula Ford 1600, and the prestigious 1994 German Formula Three Championship. He further proved his talent by winning the 1996 International Formula 3000 Championship. Before transitioning to sports car racing, Müller showcased his skills by winning the Macau Grand Prix in 1993 and even had opportunities to test Formula 1 cars for teams like Ligier, Arrows, Sauber, and BMW-Williams.

From the late 1990s, Müller focused on sports car and touring car racing, becoming a factory driver for BMW. He achieved significant success in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), winning the GT title in 2001. He also has two overall wins at the 24 Hours Nürburgring (in 2004 and 2010). Other notable achievements include victories in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the Spa 24 Hours. Jörg Müller's consistent performance and versatility have solidified his reputation as one of the top GT drivers. He currently resides in Monaco.
