Jonathan Kennard

Jonathan Kennard, born on June 26, 1985, is a British professional racing driver with a diverse and accomplished career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Kennard's early successes include winning the Formula Palmer Audi championship in 2004 and the FPA Winter Trophy in 2003, setting a strong foundation for his future endeavors. He progressed through the ranks, competing in British Formula Three, where he secured race wins in both the National (2005) and Championship (2007) classes. Kennard also gained international experience, participating in events like the Zolder F3 Masters and the Macau Grand Prix in 2007.

A significant milestone in Kennard's career was his role as a test driver for the WilliamsF1 team in 2009, providing him with invaluable experience in Formula 1. He further showcased his versatility by racing in the Superleague Formula, representing A.S. Roma in 2009. In 2010, Kennard ventured into endurance racing, competing in the Le Mans Series with the Kruse Schiller Motorsport Team in the LMP2 class and successfully finishing the Le Mans 24 Hours on his first attempt. He also served as the FIA Formula Two Test Driver from 2010 to 2012.

More recently, Kennard has been active in historic racing, participating in Historic Formula One and Endurance Racing Legends events. In 2019, he achieved pole position and dominated the Silverstone Classic in a Pescarolo LMP1. In 2020, he raced in the Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMP2 class for IDEC Sport, finishing 11th in class and 15th overall. Demonstrating his ongoing connection to Williams, Jonathan was appointed as Heritage Director for Williams Racing in January 2024. His role involves managing and maintaining Williams' historic fleet of race cars.
