About Jon Lancaster

Jon Francis Lancaster, born on December 10, 1988, is a British auto racing driver hailing from Leeds, Yorkshire. From a young age, Lancaster harbored a passion for Formula One, which fueled his ambition to pursue a career in motorsports. Lancaster's career began in karting, where he quickly demonstrated his talent. Progressing through various karting categories, he achieved notable success, including a second-place finish in the World Championship, third in the European Championship, and second in the Asia-Pacific Championship in 2005.

Lancaster transitioned to single-seater racing in 2006, participating in the Formula Renault 2.0 UK Winter Series. He then competed in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and French Formula Renault Championship in 2007, securing multiple wins and finishing second in the Eurocup standings. In 2008, Lancaster joined ART Grand Prix in the Formula 3 Euro Series, where he secured a win at the Nürburgring. Lancaster's career also includes stints in Formula Renault 3.5, Formula Two, Auto GP, and the GP2 Series.

Lancaster has also competed in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), securing the LMP2 title in 2015. Throughout his career, Lancaster has showcased his skills in various racing disciplines, earning a reputation as a versatile and competitive driver. With 190 races started, 16 wins, and 33 podium finishes, Lancaster has established himself as a respected figure in the world of motorsports.
