James Green

James Roger Green, born on June 14, 1982, is a British professional racing driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Hailing from Leicester, United Kingdom, Green began his racing journey at a young age, showcasing his talent in BriSCA Ministox, where he clinched the British Championship in his debut season at just 10 years old. He then transitioned to karting, consistently achieving top results, including runner-up positions in the Junior TKM series in 1996 and the McLaren Mercedes Champions of the Future series in 1997.

Green's single-seater career commenced in the British Formula Renault Winter Series in 2001, followed by a full season in the British Formula Renault championship in 2002, where he finished as runner-up. Progressing to Formula 3, he continued to impress, securing another runner-up title in the British Formula 3 championship in 2003 with Carlin Motorsport. The year 2004 marked a significant milestone as he entered the Formula 3 Euroseries with ASM Formule 3, backed by Mercedes-Benz, and clinched the championship title with seven race wins.

In 2005, Green joined the Mercedes-Benz DTM squad. After eight successful years at Mercedes-Benz, the Briton switched to Audi in 2013. He last raced for Audi Sport Team Rosberg in the 2020 DTM season, achieving three podiums and finishing eighth in the standings. Throughout his career, Green has demonstrated versatility and skill, earning a reputation as a formidable competitor in the world of motorsport.
