Giacomo Piccini

Giacomo Piccini, born on March 22, 1985, is a professional racing driver hailing from Italy. Piccini's career began in karting back in 1995. He's achieved significant success in various racing series throughout his career. Most recently, he competed in the Michelin Le Mans Cup for Iron Lynx.

Piccini's racing resume includes experience in Formula Renault Eurocup, Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, Italian GT Championship, International GT Open, Intercontinental GT Challenge, GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, and the European Le Mans Series. His achievements include winning the Italian GT Championship in GT3 and GT3A categories in 2006 and 2007, and the Gulf 12 Hours Pro in 2016. He also secured a Michelin Le Mans Cup title in GT3 in both 2018 and 2019.

Beyond driving, Piccini also works as a coach. In July 2021, he took on a team management role, heading the joint project between Iron Lynx and Prema Powerteam under DC Racing Solutions. His favorite racetrack is Spa, and he has a FIA Gold Driver Categorisation.
