Garry Findlay

Garry Findlay is a British racing driver born on May 18, 1989, in Stranraer, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. Introduced to motorsport through his father, who enjoyed racing as a hobby, Findlay's talent was evident from a young age. He began karting at the age of eight, quickly progressing through the ranks and competing in national championships. Despite limited funding, he achieved notable success, including podium finishes in the Super 1 Series.

Transitioning to single-seaters, Findlay initially raced in Formula Ford, securing a Winter Series title in 2006. He later competed in the British Championship's Scholarship Class, claiming numerous wins. His performance led to an opportunity with Fluid Motorsport Developments in the senior class, where he consistently finished on the podium. Although financial constraints hindered his progress up the racing ladder, Findlay's skills in testing and development were highly valued.

In recent years, Findlay has focused on endurance racing, aiming to compete in the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours. He has participated in the SPEED and VdeV series for sports prototypes, securing podiums with CD Sport in the VdeV Sportscar Series. He debuted in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in 2015 in the LMP3 class and later progressed to LMP2. Findlay's career highlights include starts in 107 races, with 13 wins, 29 podiums, 9 pole positions, and 14 fastest laps.
