Racing Driver Garnet Patterson

Garnet Patterson is an Australian racing driver making waves in the world of LMP and GT racing. Hailing from Werris Creek, he began racing karts at a young age, inspired by his family's involvement in motorsports. Patterson quickly transitioned to single-seaters, achieving early success by winning the 2013 New South Wales Formula Race Car Championship, securing 11 wins out of 15 races. In 2014, he clinched the Australian Formula 3 Championship with an impressive 10 wins and 18 podiums.

Patterson has since transitioned to endurance prototype racing, competing in various international series, including the GT World Challenge, European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, and Asian Le Mans Series. In 2016, he finished third in the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup. He has raced with United Autosports in Europe and Asia, securing a podium finish in the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Imola in 2022 and a P2 finish at the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series.

In 2025, Patterson joined United Autosports for the 24 Hours of Daytona, marking his IMSA debut. Beyond his racing career, Patterson is also a driver coach, providing services like data and video analysis and pre- and post-event management. He aspires to become a factory driver in Europe's hyper-car category and ultimately win the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
