Racing Driver Fredy Barth

Fredy Barth, born Frédéric Nicolas Barth on December 5, 1979, in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a versatile motorsportsman with a career spanning racing, instruction, and media. He began his racing journey in karting before transitioning to single-seaters, competing in French Formula Renault Campus in 2001 and later in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and Formula Volkswagen Germany.

Barth found his niche in touring car racing, making a name for himself in the German and Spanish SEAT León Supercopa series. He achieved consistent results, including a third-place finish in the German series in 2006. His success in the SEAT León Eurocup further solidified his reputation, culminating in another third-place finish in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, Barth participated in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), initially with SEAT Swiss Racing by SUNRED and later with Wiechers-Sport. He demonstrated his skills on the world stage, achieving a best finish of fourth in a race in Morocco in 2010 and finishing 13th overall in his debut season.

Beyond racing, Fredy Barth shares his passion for motorsport as a racing instructor, presenter, public speaker, and ambassador. Through his company, FB Trading und Consulting GmbH, he promotes safe motorsport and provides exciting experiences. He also supports the Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research in Switzerland, having overcome his own battle with lymph gland cancer.
