Frederic Johais

Frédéric Michel Henry Johais, born on September 15, 1980, in Tours, France, is a French racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Johais began his racing journey in karting from 1991 to 1999, achieving a high level of competition in the Karting World Championship, where he competed against future Formula 1 stars such as Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen, and Heikki Kovalainen.

In 2000, Johais transitioned to auto racing, participating in the Citroën Saxo Cup. The following year, he competed in both the Citroën Saxo Cup and the French Formula Renault 2000 Championship. In 2002, he moved to the French FFSA GT Championship with a Porsche 996 GT3 RS. 2003 saw him racing in a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup, securing 4th overall in the Nourry French GT3 Championship Competition with multiple podiums and pole positions. From 2005 to 2007, Johais returned to karting, finishing 7th overall in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge. He also claimed titles at the Le Mans 24 Hours, Bahrain 24 Hours, and Essaouira 24 Hours in Morocco.

After a break, Johais returned to auto racing in 2012, winning the opening race at Tours Speedway in the Racecar Euro Series. He later moved to the United States, competing in Super Late Model and the EXR Series. In 2017, he participated in the GT4 European Series Southern Cup, achieving consecutive victories at Magny-Cours with BMW Team France. Since 2013, Johais has also worked at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas, sharing his racing expertise.
