Esteban Gutierrez

Esteban Gutierrez, born on August 5, 1991, is a Mexican racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport categories. Gutierrez began karting at 13 and quickly transitioned to single-seater racing, showcasing his talent by finishing second in the 2007 Formula BMW USA series and earning Rookie of the Year honors. The following year, he dominated the Formula BMW Europe championship, securing the title with seven wins. This early success propelled him up the motorsport ladder.

Gutierrez's career highlights include winning the inaugural GP3 Series championship in 2010 and serving as a test and reserve driver for Sauber in Formula 1. He made his Formula 1 debut with Sauber in 2013, achieving a best finish of seventh place at the Japanese Grand Prix. After a stint as a Ferrari test driver, he returned to F1 with Haas in 2016. Beyond Formula 1, Gutierrez has competed in Formula E, IndyCar, and sports car racing. More recently, he has been involved with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team as a simulator and development driver, contributing to their Formula 1 efforts.

Off the track, Gutierrez has also ventured into the business world, founding his F1 merchandise brand, "EDASI," aiming to connect Latin American and U.S.-based motorsports fans with their favorite teams.
