Racing Driver Earl Bamber

Earl Bamber, born on July 9, 1990, is a highly accomplished professional racing driver from New Zealand. He currently competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship and is a factory driver for Corvette Racing, after previously holding that position with Porsche. Bamber's career is marked by significant victories, including two overall wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 2015 and 2017. He also secured the FIA World Endurance Championship title in 2017. In 2019, he added an IMSA SportsCar Championship to his accomplishments, along with a win at the Bathurst 12 Hour race.

Prior to his success in endurance racing, Bamber honed his skills in open-wheel racing, achieving podium finishes in Formula Renault V6, Australian Formula 3, and A1 Grand Prix. He was a consistent frontrunner in the Toyota Racing Series New Zealand, earning the runner-up position twice. Bamber's breakthrough came in Porsche's one-make series, where he dominated the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, winning the championship in both 2013 and 2014.

Currently, Bamber is in his third season with Chip Ganassi Racing, driving the No. 3 Cadillac V-Series.R in the World Endurance Championship. In 2023, he helped secure a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking Cadillac Racing's best-ever result. In addition to his driving career, Bamber is also the team principal of Earl Bamber Motorsport. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
