Dennis Retera

Dennis Retera, born on July 11, 1986, is a Dutch racing driver with a career spanning various racing disciplines. Hailing from Best, North Brabant, Netherlands, Retera began his motorsport journey in karting in 2001, achieving success with multiple Rotax Max championships. He transitioned to car racing in 2004, making his debut in the Dutch and Benelux Formula Ford Zetec championships. In his first year, he won both championships in the First Division and finished third overall in both the Dutch and Benelux series. The following year, driving for Geva Racing, he secured the overall titles in both the Dutch and Benelux championships and achieved a podium finish at the Formula Ford Festival.

Retera's career includes participation in the International Formula Master, Formula Renault 2.0, BRL V6 series, FIA GT3 European Championship, ADAC GT Masters, GT4 European Cup, International GT Open, ELMS, Blancpain, and Dutch Supercar Challenge. In 2008, he was signed as the official rookie driver for A1 Team Netherlands, driving the Ferrari A1 08 in Friday practice sessions. His best result was fourth in the rookie session at the season finale at Brands Hatch. He also finished second in the GT4 European Cup SL in 2008 and achieved a third-place finish in the European GT3 in 2006.
